My Summary:

Clay Bodine is a rancher with a past full of scandal. But, he also have a five year old daughter he just found out about, who he wants custody of. Paige Andrews is the answer for him. She's the prim and proper town librarian. She would be a good wife, and certainly a good mother if the kids at the library are an example. Clay also thought it didn't hurt one bit that she was pretty easy on the eyes.

Paige Andrews thought CLay was insane when he blurted out that he wanted to marry her. They barely knew each other. Then he kissed her... She was a goner. The more she thought about the way his lips felt on hers... Surely the heat between her and Clay meant more than Bernie's darn retirement portfolio. But, will she be able to stay with him, the man she loves, when he doesn't believe in love?

This was a good book, I got into the characters and their lives. I scoffed at the unromantic Bernie and grinned at Clay's conversation with Paige's cat. I liked the book, and I'll probably look around for more by this author, but I doubt I'll be reading this one again.
